Award winner named

At a lavish awards ceremony hosted by ANZIIF and attended by hundreds of insurance professionals, Suncorp have been named General Insurer of The Year.
"This award highlights our achievements in providing innovative products and outstanding service for our customers," said Suncorp CFO Commercial Insurance, Mr Matt Pearson.
"We are the third largest general insurance group in Australia and the second largest insurer in New Zealand – and we are leaders in our industry. Winning this award reflects that," he said.
Suncorp controls well known names such as AAMI, Australian Pensioners Insurance Agency, Shannons, Vero, Asteron, Tyndall, Suncorp and GIO.
The 2008 ANZIIF Insurance Industry awards we held at the Parkside Ballroom,Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
